I am pleased to confirm that pre-registration for the next 2027 Jean Delaire Congress, to be held on September 16–17, 2027, at the Hôtel Honeyrose in Montreal, Canada, will open on September 16, 2026, on the Institute’s website => https://jeandelaire.com/

This trilingual congress (English, French, Spanish) will bring together healthcare professionals involved in the management of craniomaxillofacial malformations: surgeons, orthodontists, rehabilitation specialists, and more broadly, all specialists committed to improving diagnosis and treatment.

Dentofacial dysmorphoses and their accompanying respiratory disorders, craniofacial developmental anomalies, facial clefts, and temporomandibular joint dysfunctions will be the main themes of this 2027 edition.

The scientific committee, chaired by Professors Pierre Corre and Hélios Bertin of Nantes Université, and Professors Julia Cohen-Levy and David Koppel of McGill University – Montreal, will ensure that these topics are addressed in a multidisciplinary manner, continuing in the spirit of previous editions — one of openness, tolerance, and intellectual goodwill.

The program will combine lectures, free communications, practical workshops, and a poster exhibition, to encourage the exchange of experience and the sharing of knowledge among the various disciplines represented, as well as across generations.

This 2027 edition will open in a spirit of Discovery and Controversy.

Discovery, because attendees will be able to discover — or rediscover — the scientific thinking of Jean Delaire, as well as his architectural and structural cephalometric analysis, one of its principal applications.

Jean Michel Salagnac, a longtime collaborator of Jean Delaire and co-author of the computerized analysis, will add brilliance to this congress with his presence, whether through the training sessions he will give on computerized analysis, or through the keynote lectures he will deliver on structural analysis (particularly spinal analysis) and on his frontal cephalometric analysis.

Controversy, because scientific progress arises from the reasoned confrontation of differing, sometimes opposing, points of view. Debate allows established certainties to be questioned, enriches practice, and invites everyone to step outside their comfort zone.

Special attention is being given to Junior members, who represent the future. Particularly attractive registration conditions are being offered — and workshops are free for them!
